The Royal Mansour Marrakech, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property, is a triumph of design and luxury. The property, located just steps away from the Medina, treats its guests to world-class amenities, fine cuisine (it just opened a new Italian restaurant, Sesamo, led by Michelin-star chef Massimiliano Alajmoand), stunning architecture, and décor crafted by over 1,500 local artisans.
But the iconic hotel is also emerging as a leading spa destination in this part of the world. The property just announced that it is enhancing its wellness offerings through a series of high-profile partnerships and multi-day programs that will debut this spring. Guests of the idyllic three-story, 27,000-square-foot spa will be able to choose from several new exclusive treatments created in collaboration with three of the most renowned skincare brands—Intraceuticals, Subtle Energies, and Dr. Burgener Switzerland.

The latest additions to the spa menu include three customizable treatments by Intraceuticals based on the company’s proprietary three-step hyaluronic layering method that uses therapeutic oxygen under pressure; the Recovering Traveller treatment of Subtle Energies that improves sleep and energy levels and strengthens the immune system after a long-haul flight; and a series of anti-aging facials by Dr. Burgener Switzerland that combine natural ingredients sourced from around the world with the latest in Swiss biotechnological practices.

Those seeking a more immersive wellness experience can take advantage of the new three-, five-, seven- or 14-day retreats that will debut this spring. Separated into four programs—Rebalance, Weight Control, Rejuvenation, and Immunity boost—the all-inclusive retreats will address the participants’ physical and mental well-being.
Of course, suppose you’re simply craving one of the spa’s signature hammam treatments inspired by traditional Moroccan beauty rituals. In that case, you can choose between a number of custom experiences that use some of Morocco’s most precious natural ingredients, such as purifying clay from the Atlas Mountains, roses from the Kalaat Megouna Valley, and local saffron.
