Breakfasts are as decadent as the dinners at the beloved ‘Pink Palace’ in the Quarter, reopened in 2014 after a two-year $20 million overhaul by new owners Terry White and Ralph Brennan. The eight dining rooms are done in pink, green, and purple hues, and in a palm-fringed courtyard turtles splash in a bubbling fountain while diners sample turtle soup inside. For the fabled breakfast at Brennan’s try an oh-so-rich Croque Madame Royale made with prosciutto, truffle, and gruyere, while at lunch or dinner never miss the Banana’s Foster, which was invented here. 417 Royal St.; 504-525-9711; brennansneworleans.com.
