The Condiment to Keep on Hand: Entube Harissa

A North African chili paste, harissa is essential to couscous in Tunisia. It also has many other uses—as a sandwich spread, to perk up salad dressing, mixed into burger meat, and tossed with vegetables, to name a few. Los Angeles–based designer Richard Lassalle sells a flavorful North American–made version called Entube, created from his own recipe.
