Hublot is going from Haute Horlogerie to Haute Jewelry this holiday season. The Swiss luxury company just unveiled three new fine jewelry models—Big Bang Unico High Jewellery, Spirit of Big Bang High Jewellery, and Classic Fusion High Jewellery— that marry the technical performance of its movements with the timeless beauty of diamonds. And, the watches are truly something to behold! All three timepieces are a master class in the painstaking craftsmanship that it takes to set hundreds of diamonds.

“Setting the stones on a watch is a feat of technical and aesthetic excellence, carefully conceived and determined in advance. The discipline is both a science of absolute precision and an art form, the aim of which is to maximize the brilliance of the stones within the limits of an extremely confined space,” explained Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot’s CEO in a press release.
The Big Bang Unico High Jewellery sports a total of 334 baguette-cut diamonds that weigh 12.5 carats—243 adorn the 42mm case and its bezel and another 61 are set on the dial. Hublot’s proprietary Unico 2 movement has also been updated for the occasion and now features an oscillating second clutch and an adjustable ballbearing chronograph friction system. The watch is fitted with a black alligator strap with a deployant buckle set with 30 diamonds.
The second timepiece, the Spirit of Big Bang High Jewellery, dons even more sparkle. Three hundred and forty-six diamonds weighing 13.1 carats complement one of Hublot’s finest chronographs. From its tonneau case, that is embellished with 178 stones to the edges of the dial and the hour indices plus the three discs, everything has been given the diamond treatment for a dazzling look. The watch comes with an alligator strap sewn onto natural rubber—the epitome of Hublot’s the Art of Fusion philosophy.

But the pièce de résistance in the collection is the haute jewelry version of the Classic Fusion timepiece. With 427 baguette diamonds encrusted all over the case, bezel and dial, this watch is a total stunner.
The Big Bang Unico High Jewellery retails for $316,000 while both the Spirit of Big Bang High Jewellery and the Classic Fusion High Jewellery come with a proce tag of $369,000.
