It’s finally here: the biggest night in Hollywood. Fans and stars have been waiting all year to find out who will take home a coveted Oscar. But, before we can find out the winners, A-listers have to get ready to dazzle on the red carpet. And that’s no easy feat. It takes hours to craft the perfect coif, master the makeup, and dress to impress. Luckily, celebs gave us a peek at their Academy Award prep by sharing behind the scenes photos on Instagram.

Gabrielle Union

The actress proved she’s just like the rest of us as she had to battle with an unsightly pimple before the main event. To combat the complexion mishap esthetician Lindsay Faulk came over to her house to perform a hydro-facial complete with a zit-zapping laser. “Get that zit,” she captioned the clip.

Giuliana Rancic

The red-carpet hostess proved it takes an army of products to achieve the perfect look. Makeup artist Liz Castellanos brought no fewer than six shades of lipstick.

The BlackKklansman star's stylist Danielle Nachmani shared a preview of what we could expect from the actress on the red carpet. And it included a whole lot of jewels. "Big day for the duo. @lauraharrier," she wrote on Instagram.

The Crazy Rich Asians star headed to famous facialist Joanna Vargas to get the Triple Crown Facial, which includes a mix of oxygen treatment, microdermabrasion, and cryotherapy.

Caitlyn Jenner

The reality star looked beautiful courtesy of makeup artist Kip Zachary. Jenner shared a photo getting the final touches while donning a bathrobe.
