The roaring zoom-zoom excitement of racers averaging speeds of 110 miles per hour was the big draw. But racing fans got another thrill in the form of a first look at the $400 million redesign of the Daytona International Speedway. The enhancements expanded the venue to 101,500 seats, with luxury suites located behind glass partitions in the main stadium structure and additional VIP seating in the Daytona 500 Club in the infield area directly behind pit lane.
