Actors from other hit Broadway shows are available too.

Sadly, Broadway is closed for the rest of 2020. But companies are getting creative with how to reach fans beyond the stage. Disney+ released Hamilton on its streaming service, and now another company has found a way to bring the cast even closer in your home. Broadway Plus—the official coordinator of VIP Broadway experiences—coordinates personalized video calls between theater fans and Broadway actors from hit shows like Hamilton.

The company recently relaunched amid the COVID era when digital experiences are some of the only ways for fans to get a taste of their beloved entertainment. This boom in demand inspired the team to take a much more in-depth look at their platform and make necessary changes to ensure users have the best online experience possible.

Now, the new streamlined site lets fans easily search for specific actors, filter by show, and book their custom experience with a click. In addition to show-sorting, new categories like Film & TV Stars, Fan Favorites, and Tony Award Nominees are available. Experiences include virtual voice lessons, private concerts, group Q&As, and one-on-one video meet-and-greets. Of course, it goes beyond the cast of Hamilton; Broadway actors from hit shows like Mean Girls, Wicked, SIX, and more are available.

“Sharing our love for theater through personalized, bespoke experiences for fans has always been our number one goal. Our new website is the latest testament to that—it allows us to provide VIP Broadway experiences to fans faster than ever,” Nathaniel Hill, founder and President of Broadway Plus, said in a statement. “By expanding our offerings online and enhancing the digital experience, we’re able to support our artists and continue to make Broadway accessible for people all around the world.”

Since productions were paused months ago, Broadway Plus has coordinated over 100 personalized digital experiences each week.
