Music fans, mark your calendar for a memorable performance. On October 30, American Express UNSTAGED will present Sam Smith from Abbey Road Studios in celebration of Smith’s new album “Love Goes.” At the pay-per-view performance, the Grammy-winning artist is expected to play fan favorites, like “Stay With Me” and “Lay Me Down,” as well as debut new music from “Love Goes.” In fact, it will be the world premiere performance of new songs off their third album, such as “Love Goes,” “My Oasis,” and “Kids Again”—and their recently released single “Diamonds.”
Smith’s performance is not only an opportunity for fans and music lovers alike to hear their favorite songs from this Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist. The American Express UNSTAGED event also has a Q&A session and audience participation. Amid one of the most challenging years the music industry has ever seen, the highly anticipated concert will feel like an intimate performance and present a rare instance of (virtual) two-way communication on stage.
Ticket packages for American Express UNSTAGED with Sam Smith are available exclusively to American Express Card Members. The Behind the Scenes package ($13) includes admission to the virtual experience along with rarely captured footage of the event, and the Merch package comes with a ticket, event poster and t-shirt (featuring exclusive designs for American Express Card Members), and that same footage. The pièce de résistance, however, is the American Express UNSTAGED Ultimate Fan package, which includes all the perks of the Merch package, as well as a 10-minute intimate, virtual group meet-and-greet with Sam Smith the day before the concert.

American Express has been offering exclusive UNSTAGED events since 2010. Even as the events have gone virtual this year, the once-in-a-lifetime experiences have remained intimate and memorable. Last month, American Express UNSTAGED featured Alicia Keys debuting her new music. The Sam Smith show, on October 30 promises to be equally revelatory.
