The Legend Award honorees for properties excelling in all things wellness are simultaneously retreats and five-star hotels. It’s not enough for these properties to have beautiful bathtubs and a great fresh-pressed juice menu. These honorees offer programming that includes restorative yoga, world-class spa treatments, alternative medicine, and enriching healing tradition. Not only are cultural remedies prominently woven into healing and therapeutic practices, but local ingredients are also integrated into spa treatments—from Cretan salt to Northern Californian volcanic ash.
Furthermore, wellness is not just of the body at these spas—wellness of the mind is equally important. The holistic approach to health our Legend Award honorees have extends to counseling services or spiritual guidance.
