Open House New York, October 6–7
The tenth annual Open House New York (OHNY) will kick off with a special reception the night of October 5 in the Times Square Museum & Visitor Center. New sites include the Four Seasons Restaurant, the Museum of the Moving Image, the Park Avenue Armory and the Public Theater; perennial favorites will encompass the High Line, the Paul Rudolph Foundation and the New York Marble Cemetery. There will also be an urban-art bike tour, a canoe trip on the Gowanus Canal and a series of open houses at the homes of 15 contemporary architects and interior designers, curated by Interior Design magazine. openhouseworldwide.org
