La Mer Spa, Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York
Ultra-prestige skincare brand La Mer joined forces with French crystal maker and nascent hotel brand Baccarat to launch its first-ever full-service spa. Spa de La Mer, which opened within the now one-year-old Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York in July 2015, has four treatment rooms and a 55-square-foot pool, all designed to resemble a European seaside village (white-washed wood floors, sea kelp murals, vaulted tent-like ceilings). While massages and body wraps are on the menu, the real headliner is the customizable La Mer Baccarat Facial: Each features a pure concentration of the brand’s renowned Miracle Broth, a hyper-hydrating extract used within each of its skincare products.
