Leave it to BTS to light up the red carpet at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Their award-winning music aside, the super-popular K-pop boy band always looks incredibly stylish dressed to the nines in coordinated outfits—at last year’s ceremony, for example, they showed up clad in Bottega Veneta and pretty much won the red carpet. And tonight is no different.

V, RM, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin were among the first to arrive at music’s biggest night donning looks from Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection that was revealed during Paris Fashion Week back in January. Wearing suits in black and beige, the boys made sure that they, once again, scored major points in the fashion department.

Not only is the collection incredibly elegant, but it is also one of the most important and talked-about in recent years.

Designed by the French house’s creative director for menswear, Virgil Abloh, it explored themes of stereotypes, racial identity, and cultural appropriation. Pleated skirts, patterned fabrics with Louis Vuitton’s classic monogram, accessories printed with the words “tourist vs purist,” and plenty of travel motifs such as buttons in the shape of airplanes made the collection an instant sensation. Puffer jackets made up of 3D reconstructions of some of Paris and New York City’s most recognizable landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame cathedral were some of the buzziest looks.

The collection was a digital success (it has over a hundred million views) partly because of BTS—the K-pop band posted about it both on their Instagram and Twitter accounts.
