What happens when one of the most iconic fashion brands teams up with the publisher of the most played video game in the world? Well, the short answer is a fashion collaboration that will blow you away. But let us elaborate.
Louis Vuitton finally revealed its hotly anticipated League of Legends capsule collection done in partnership with Riot Games. Fans of the video game will surely recognize a lot of the references that Nicolas Ghesquière, who designed the capsule, has used in both the apparel and accessories. Ghesquière even reinvented Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram pattern for the occasion.
The ready-to-wear pieces are crafted from technical fabrics such as scuba jersey and include t-shirts, jogging pants sporting the exclusive Louis Vuitton x League of Legends motif, cycling shorts, and the coolest silver-tone leather biker jacket we’ve ever seen.
Among the accessories we have our eyes on, are a diamond bracelet that features a redesigned Louis Vuitton circle charm inspired by Qiyana’s weapon and the new Tambour Horizon smartwatch that includes a 24-hour LV-monogram ring and pink gold-hued numbers.
And finally, this being Louis Vuitton, there just had to be some seriously gorgeous bags. We are particularly fond of the Dauphine BB belt bag, which is basically a mini version of Louis Vuitton’s Dauphine style that, in this case, has been printed with a gold-and-silver camouflage pattern.
Last month, Louis Vuitton created the official trophy travel case for the League of Legends World Championship Finals in Paris and later unveiled special Prestige skins for Qiyana.
The entire Louis Vuitton x League of Legends capsule collection is already available for pre-order on Louisvuitton.com.
