Parisian brand Saint Laurent’s 24th store in the U.S. and sole northeast location is now open in Boston’s main retail center, Copley Place (neighboring even more shopping on Newbury Street). Louis Vuitton’s latest customization initiative for men, ‘My LV Belt,’ will leave you spoiled for choice. With 240 possible combinations, the program proposes 14 leather strap options (from reversible or nonreversible Taurillon, to ostrich and crocodile) and 12 redesigned, thinner buckles (from gold, palladium or ruthenium, to inlayed olive wood or agata zebrata). Neapolitan menswear brand Isaia now occupies San Francisco’s iconic Frank Lloyd Wright building at 140 Maiden Lane. The brand’s third U.S. boutique—filled with furniture from the gallery Esprit Nouveau in Naples, Italy—joins its other locations in Manhattan and Beverly Hills. isaia.it
If there’s any wallpaper that can be considered iconic, it’s the Beverly Hills Hotel’s ‘Martinique Banana Leaf’ wallpaper. Now, the print (developed in 1942 by decorator Don Loper) is available in three exclusive sneakers styles ($550 for high-top, $475 for low-top) by luxury leather footwear brand Koio. British heritage brands L.K. Bennett and Preen have created a 16-piece capsule collection inspired by floral watercolors and checkered wave patterns. With locations in Venice, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Manhattan, eyewear brand Garrett Leight (owned by the son of Oliver Peoples founder Larry Leight) will open a new boutique in the Knox-Henderson district of Dallas on October 20. For the first time, Cartier’s iconic (and newly renovated) Cartier Mansion (653 Fifth Ave.) hosts an immersive exhibition of the brand’s largest-ever collection of high jewelry in the U.S. The exhibition will feature Cartier High Jewelry, vintage pieces, High Jewelry watches and exceptional objects as well as Exhibition pieces from the Cartier Collection. Additionally, the third floor of the Mansion will showcase a Cartier Atelier giving behind-the-scenes access to the pieces’ creation with on-site artisans.
