Anna Trzebinski Hosts Trunk Show in New York
Kenya-based fashion designer Anna Trzebinski, raised in East Africa and known for her clothing and accessories inspired by the crafts of the Maasai and Samburu tribes, is showing her latest wares at New York’s Surrey Hotel (20 E. 76th St., New York; 917-539-9437) November 2–4. The trunk show will include items from Trzebinski’s collection of handmade ready-to-wear items and accessories, like leather bags decorated with metal hardware, feathers, and fringe; beaded sandals and jewelry; shawls that end in a cascade of feathers; and clothes adorned with plenty of beaded and fringed details. Wednesday, November 2, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Thursday, November 3, 10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.; Friday, November 4, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
