Louis Vuitton’s Revamped Chicago Flagship
Louis Vuitton’s newly reopened Chicago flagship is much more than a revamped store; it’s a moment in the brand’s history, where it made its first stateside debut showcasing flat-lidded trunks in 1893. The renovated store was designed by famed architect Peter Marino (whose work includes the Dior store in Tokyo, Chanel in Beverly Hills, Fendi in Rome, and Bulgari in Chicago), and carries two store-exclusive handbags: the Twist PM ($3,750) and the Petite Malle ($5,750), each in a chevron-patterned, silver Epi leather. 919 N.
