Dressing the Cast of Entourage

Michael Muller/HBO

Stephen Seo is the tailor who keeps the actors of Entourage in custom suits.

The tale of how Stephen Seo, former J. Walter Thompson art director, became a bespoke designer and Entourage clothier could’ve been scripted: Young South Korean comes to New York and gets a job in advertising. Is sent to London; spends time on Savile Row asking questions. Orders his first bespoke suit. Returns to New York and starts studying to be a designer, combining his Savile Row tutorials with a flair for color. Opens an atelier near Wall Street. His work catches the eye of an Entourage producer. Seo is beckoned to L.A. and voilà, Ari Gold wears bespoke Stephen Seo: single-breasted, roped shoulder, slanted pocket.

Seo is available by appointment at his New York atelier at 20 Pine Street but makes trips to L.A. and other cities. Allow three appointments and six weeks. From $300 for a custom shirt to $3,000 for a bespoke suit; stephenseo.com.
