Class Act of the Week: David Beckham

The former soccer star masters transitional season suiting while celebrating his acting debut.

On Wednesday, David Beckham attended the European premiere of King Arthur: Legend Of the Sword in London's Leicester Square. Although the retired Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder has had screen time before (see 2015’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E), his two-minute cameo, as a sharp-tongued knight, Trigger, in Guy Ritchie’s latest film is his first speaking role.

The 42-year-old, whose known for his sense of style and ever-changing locks, donned an immaculately fitted, olive suit by Polo Ralph Lauren. Beckham contrasted the heaviness of the suit’s wool tweed with a crisp, light blue dress shirt, and camel suede boots. Beckham kept his accessories minimal—well, he always has his tats—and his hair slicked back. The father of four was accompanied by his doppelgänger son Brooklyn, 18. No word as to if wife and designer Victoria Beckham put the look together.
