It seems as if all of Hollywood is transplanted to the south of France during the Cannes film festival. That means for two weeks, all eyes are on the stars and their styles as the event is known for its over-the-top glamour. But, it was Brooklyn Beckham who made one of the biggest fashion statements by landing at the Nice airport wheeling a rare suitcase.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham arrived for the film festival on May 21 with girlfriend Hana Cross toting the hard carry-on suitcase by Supreme. It’s simple design—a black shell with the word “Supreme” written in white—was made in 2018 as part of a limited collaboration between the sought-after skate brand and high-end luggage company Rimowa. And much like other Supreme products, the suitcase sold out instantly.
Now only available on resale websites, the unique carry-on can fetch over $6,000 as hypebeasts are eager to get their hands on the posh tote. Speaking of posh, the former Spice Girl and Beckham’s mom is also a fan of the cult fashion label and was spotted rocking a Supreme t-shirt at an airport once too.
And Beckham isn’t the only one lucky enough to sport the Supreme suitcase. Justin Bieber, Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevigne, DJ Khaled, and Naomi Campbell have all been spotted with it as well. Meanwhile, stars like Amal Clooney, Olivia Culpo, Jared Leto, Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine, Diane Kruger, and more are fans of the iconic luggage brand rocking more of their classic styles.
In fact, the Supreme partnership marks just one of the many unique collaborations Rimowa has pursued recently under the new CEO, 26-year-old Alexandre Arnault. They teamed up with Italian streetwear brand Off-White to create a limited-edition line with bold graphics and phrases and launched the first-ever experiential suitcase where travelers received 12 skyhours that could be redeemed for one hour of travel toward any flight on skyhour.com.
“We’ve never seen luggage as simply a product,” Hector Muelas, chief brand officer at Rimowa, previously said. “For Rimowa, a suitcase is a tool for purposeful travelers and a catalyst for meaningful experiences.”
