Luxury hotels tend to be good about letting their guests borrow items such as umbrellas, cribs, and phone chargers. But one Miami hotel decided to up the ante with the things they lent out. How? Well, SLS South Beach just announced they are the first hotel in the U.S. to provide designer handbags as a complimentary amenity.
The sbe property partnered with the company Vivrelle, which is a first-of-its-kind membership club that provides access to coveted designer handbags, watches, jewelry, and diamonds for a monthly fee. Basically, members can borrow items with no return date and are also able to purchase things they love at discounted prices. But, with the partnership, guests at SLS South Beach won’t even have to pay the fee.
“We founded Vivrelle with a mission to deliver affordability, accessibility, and sustainability to our members,” said Blake Geffen, co-founder of Vivrelle, in a statement. “Our partnership with sbe and SLS South Beach does just that by bringing both an elevated experience and convenience to their guests at no additional cost.”
All hotel guests can choose from a variety of daytime and evening handbags from some of the most sought-after brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Givenchy, and many more. The bags are available on a first-come-first-served basis and the service can be utilized for the duration of the guest's stay. What’s more is that if you are a Vivrelle member, you will receive exclusive rates at the hotel.
“SLS South Beach understands that when it comes to choosing a hotel there are so many choices in Miami, and we are so grateful to our guests for choosing us,” said Simon Sorpresi, Complex Managing Director at SLS South Beach, in a statement. “We hope this exclusive and unique experience for our guests; offering them a luxurious designer handbag as an amenity for the evening; will express how much we appreciate them. And of course—we look forward to many return visits—Vivrelle, after all, has such an incredible variety of designers that you’ll have to come back to experience them all!”
