Cask Strength
This basement bar in the Roppongi district is one of Tokyo’s best whisky bars, with an impressive selection of rare and aged whiskies—lovers of Scotch and aged bourbon will be especially pleased. The best way to go is to have a chat with the bartender and ask for a recommendation based on what you like. Be warned that, like many of Tokyo’s bars, there is a small cover charge (about $10), but the rare bottles on offer are more than worth the entry fee.
