The Salon by Eyal Shani

Nachalat Yitzhak
Israeli Chef Restaurant

Raucous The Salon is Tel Aviv’s ultimate dinner-as-theater experience. Located in an obscure industrial area and open only on Wednesday and Thursday nights, it offers a set evening menu in an airy dining room, where an open kitchen morphs into a lively dinner party, complete with dancing and disco music. The food is based on seasonal, local ingredients gathered each week by chef and owner Eyal Shani and his team. The innovative offerings include a paper-thin slice of eggplant served in a cloud of tomato purée and rich tahini or a “free-style” salad bursting with six different kinds of tomatoes—all served to applause. Reservations are essential, so plan ahead.
