Rothschild 12
This café/lounge/music venue is set in the heart of Rothschild Boulevard, a short walk from the nearby Neve Tzedek district. Although its Eclectic-era façade may look a bit forlorn, owner Mati Broudo (of Hotel Montefiore fame) has created a bright, split-level gallery-like space where video and art installations are displayed up top as diners and drinkers revel down below. Rothschild 12 focuses on Israel’s increasingly award-winning wines, though the house gin and tonic can’t be beat.
