Mashya
Every item on Mashya’s menu follows a theme of either mineral, metal, earth, sand or stone, so it’s fitting that after dining at this gorgeous gem of a bistro, located in the smart lobby of the Mendeli St. Hotel, you’ll feel as if you’re walking on air. Chef Yossi Shitrit (also of Kitchen Market) has built Mashya from the ground up as an homage to the tastes and textures of his Israeli childhood, but the result—ricotta dumplings floating in a sea of pumpkin and cream; lamb neck with spicy green tahini; and a brunch menu that is arguably the very best in town—is utterly modern and updated.
