Monuments

A number of the most famous Roman monuments have recently received a revamp thanks to a number of the country’s fashion houses. The Colosseum, for example, underwent a first phase, $33 million refurbishment to clean its ancient walls and install a new gate system with the help of Tod’s CEO, Diego Della Valle. In 2015, the Trevi fountain came out from behind its scaffolding after a restoration funded by Fendi (they even hosted an epic fashion show there with glass catwalks over the water). And the Spanish Steps reopened in 2016 after undergoing its own epic overhaul with help from Bulgari.
