Vintage Couture + Decor

Affluent bobos (bourgeious and bohemian Parisians) know the best place to find unique fashion in Paris is the Saint-Ouen flea market and the ultimate treasure trove is at Mademoiselle Steinitz in the Vintage Village Market, anchored by Habitat 1964. Owner Sarah Steinitz, the daughter of an antique dealer, deals in vintage couture, art, and furnishings. Dior dresses, Chanel jackets, and Alaïa trench coats are displayed on manikins throughout her boutique along with Asian sculpture and black-and-white photography. This is the place to go for some rare and one-of-a-kind pieces, like a beaded cocktail dress from the 1920s.
