La Maison Plisson
The last thing Paris may need is another marché, but La Maison Plisson is a relatively new concept for Paris: a gourmet deli and restaurant where you can stop for lunch, or pick up groceries or provisions for a picnic at nearby Place des Vosges. Every item sold has been hand selected by owner Delphine Plisson who left a career in fashion to open the upscale marketplace. Highlights include black truffle potato chips and incredible smoked pork filet mignon as well as pastries from Benoit Castel’s Liberté boulangerie. It’s a great place to pick up edible gifts like gourmet jams, artisanal nut butters and French candies.
