St. Henri
Wine Bar

This St. Henri wine bar, owned by members of Montreal punk band Trigger Effect, is located in a landmark former bank building (built in 1905 by architect Edward Maxwell), a space it shares with the heavy metal venue Turbo Haus, located upstairs. The wines are the main draw at this unfussy bar (concrete floors, red lacquer bar, bentwood café chairs), and the stellar list was put together with the help of sommelier-restaurateur Ryan Gray of nearby Nora Gray. A handful of elevated bar snacks, like beef tartare and cheeseburgers, are served until 1 a.m.
