Chef-restaurateurs Dyan Solomon and Éric Gerard of bakery-café Olive et Gourmando in Old Montreal have opened this Griffintown restaurant focused on grilled and wood-fired dishes. Think crispy “green” flatbread with kale, escarole, shallots, and a three-cheese sauce and charcoal-grilled sea bass with aioli, cucumbers, and celery. The industrial-chic dining room, with gray-painted brick and wrought iron accents, has a lengthy concrete bar perfect for solo dining.
