Design District
Men + Women’s Clothing

Once a run-down part of the city’s Buena Vista neighborhood, this 18-square-block area, now known as the Design District, has blossomed into a true destination for art, design, and high-end fashion. The area is now home to dozens of luxe global brands including Hermes and Dior, but what makes it really worth a trip is the architecture. Take the Louis Vuitton outpost, for example, which boasts a cutout aluminum façade designed by Japanese architects Jun Aoki and Mirei Uchibe; inside the four-story space, there’s a 36-foot glass and mirror installation by Miami-born artist Teresita Fernandez.
