Los Panchos

Mexican Taquería

An institution since the 1950s, this family-run joint in Anzures, a neighborhood bordering Polanco, is a great spot to stop for a local lunch. The menu focuses on Mexican home-style classics like carnitas—slow-cooked pork served in homemade tortillas—quesadillas stuffed with squash flowers, and tacos. The restaurant is also renowned for its cochinita pibil (a pork dish originating in the Yucatan) and complex house-made mole.
