Napa and Sonoma may get more attention, but Malibu is also home to some great California wineries. Book a limo or Uber, and head up the Pacific Coast Highway to Malibu Wines, where picturesque indoor and outdoor tasting rooms serve up local varieties, including offerings produced at neighboring Saddlerock Ranch. Owned by the Semler family—the largest landowners in Malibu—Saddlerock is also known for its Malibu Wine Safari featuring the property’s zebras, alpacas, American bison, and giraffes, and recently introduced wine-centric hikes. Still thirsty? Stop in Carbon Beach on the way home for a sunset cocktail at Nobu Malibu or Soho House’s new members-only Little Beach House Malibu, located next door.
