Artesian at the Langham

Cocktail Bar

The Langham hotel’s opulent bar has been voted “World’s Best Bar” on Drinks International’s list four times running, and it’s not hard to see why. A ton of thought goes into the cocktails here, and enjoying one is an event in its own right, with innovative drinks arriving at the table in smoking wooden boxes, foot-tall metal sculptures, and other over-the-top custom vessels. The menu is full of classics, house specials (like the Artesian punch, a blend of rum, calvados, pear eau-de-vie, and pineapple), a wide selection of rum drinks, several gin and tonic variations, and a new “surrealism” list where you’ll find cocktails with ingredients like oak smoke and dulse.
