Rive-Rouge
The late-2016 opening of this lounge and club on the upper floor of the Time Out Market a was a highly anticipated event thanks to the name behind the project: Manuel Reis, founder of Lux Fragil. While there’s a significant club vibe here (and a lot of red), Reis and his team aimed for a different, more flexible type of nightlife venue. It opens earlier, at 5 p.m., making it both a lounge and dance party destination. The DJ sets from mostly up-and-coming local talents are booked to match, offering two distinct atmospheres early evening and late night. The mellower ambience in the afternoon is ideal for an end-of-day drink.
