Cutipol is one of Portugal’s most internationally renowned design brands. Since its 1965 founding in the town of Guimarães, Cutipol’s cutlery has been sold in many high-end shops and used in fine hotels and restaurants all over the world. (Recently, we even spotted its creations in a luxury property in Oman.) The brand has always adhered to a minimalist aesthetic, making each item truly timeless. The silhouettes are slender but sturdy, and there’s usually a unique design quirk to elevate the look, making them perfect for everyday use or special occasions. (The cutlery set from the Bauhaus collection has each angular piece brushed in 24-K gold.) The Chiado store, while quite small, carries the brand’s entire product line; there are plans to expand the space.
