Givenchy
Unlikely as it may seem, the fashion house that introduced the shirt dress, the bag dress, and even the LBD hadn't had a standalone boutique in the United States since it pulled up stakes in 2008. All that changed in 2014, when Givenchy opened its first U.S. flagship on the Esplanade at Wynn, bypassing New York City. The store, which is worth a visit for the interior design alone, is flooded with natural light and has a terrace overlooking a lake. The imposing entrance is made of American white imperial marble with hand-inlaid Tunisian black marble podiums—all the better to house the precious fashions within.
