This joint venture from brothers Ferran Adrià of El Bulli and Albert Adrià of Inopia has been one of the toughest reservations to secure in Barcelona since it opened in 2011. Everything about the experience is a spectacle, from the décor—one seating area looks like a theater box office and the ceiling is hung with giant strawberries—to the unorthodox snacks and small plates that arrive in front of diners, like beet root cake with yogurt and mustard ice cream and black sesame and white chocolate “rock” with passion fruit yogurt. Somehow, it all works. Reservations are released exactly two months in advance of the day, so mark your calendar or contact your hotel concierge well ahead of time.
