Roca Bar
The same troika of brothers behind the Michelin three-star El Cellar de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, considered by many to be the best restaurant in the world, concocted this swank establishment. They advise the restaurant and bar’s head chef on the menu—globally influenced bites like roasted Caesar salad and chicken tandoori with yogurt—and help select the wines on offer, including a complex Chivite Colleccion 125 Chardonnay (one of the most coveted in Spain). The casual space in the lobby of the Hotel Omm (fireplace, comfortable sofas) is really made for imbibing, but it’s also a great place for dessert. The bar is one of the only places in Barcelona that serves Rocamblesc gourmet ice cream, including pistachio green tea and grapefruit sorbet with lychee and roses, originally created for El Cellar de Can Roca.
