Spring auction season is in full swing, and though the opportunities to bid on something spectacular are abundant, style mavens are sure to pay particularly close attention to the Spring Luxury Auction at Heritage Auctions. The event—which takes place on April 29 in New York after previews in Dallas and Beverly Hills—will feature hundreds of rare accessories from brands like Hermès, Valentino, Cartier, Balenciaga and Oscar de la Renta. Keep an eye out for a runway limited edition of a bloodred crocodile clutch from Marc Jacobs, and an elusive Chanel Cruiser bicycle outfitted with a seat and saddlebags made from quilted lambskin. Those looking for vintage finds can bid on pieces like a Gianni Versace pink python bag, or a classic Louis Vuitton steamer trunk complete with old-time-y European travel stickers still attached.
