When old becomes new again.

Since opening last spring, the revived beauty brand Buly 1803 has been the talk of Paris, as much for how cleverly the Saint-Germain shop mimics the Belle Epoque as for the old-world apothecary-style products, which include all-natural, mix-your-own clay masks and pure emu oil. Buly 1803 feels as if it’s always been here, but that’s the specialty of founder Ramdane Touhami, who previously brought the 17th-century candle company Cire Trudon out of obscurity.
