Last year, the luxurious, gilded Faena Hotel opened just in time for Basel. This year, Alan Faena and his crew follow up with the brand-new arts space, Faena Forum (3300-3398 Collins Ave.; faena.com). The celebration begins with a free parade on Sunday, November 27: Leave it to curator Ximena Caminos, the cultural programmer for all things Faena, to organize a sweeping processional mixing a range of talents, including artists Carlos Betancourt and Marinella Senatore, food trucks, and some of Miami’s best chefs, like Bradley Kilgore and Jeff McInnis. The party starts at 2 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. We fully expect to see the eccentric hotelier/developer leading this artistic extravaganza in his signature white suite and hat. Faena Arts District between 32nd and 36th Sts and Collins Ave., Miami Beach.
