Finishing touches are being made to the new Ice Globe Theatre, in Sweden's Lapland, 120 miles above the Arctic Circle. Constructed by the same people who rebuild the famous Icehotel every year, the Ice Globe is a full-scale replica of Shakespeare's legendary roundhouse, complete with two-story boxes seating 96 and a yard for 400 groundlings. Performances of an abridged (75 minutes) Hamlet, in Sami, begin January 23.
