And their nomination for Love Yourself: Tear is their first ever.

Clearly mega-popular K-pop boy band BTS is just as excited to make their first-ever appearance at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards as their fans. So excited, in fact, they couldn’t sleep. Yes, before jetting around the world to attend the biggest night in music, members J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, V, Suga, and RM stayed up to record new music.

"We stayed up all night to work for our next album," RM told ET's Sophie Schillaci and Apple Music's Zane Lowe at the Grammy’s red carpet. "Right before the flight, we stayed up all night."

While the boys did have lay-flat seats on their plane ride over to catch some zzz’s, they picked right back up with a packed schedule. They popped over to the Dior party where they posed with Kim Jones. But, of course, the big moment is their appearance at the award show as it marks the first K-Pop act to attend and present at the Grammys. Plus, their album was nominated for a Grammy: the art director, HuskyFox, was nominated for Best Recording Package for the Love Yourself: Tear album.

Sadly, they lost, but that didn’t stop the band from being ecstatic to be at the Los Angeles event. "We never imagined that we could be here. We always said it was a dream, but still, we can't believe it," RM said of the group finally making it to the GRAMMYs. "Maybe next year [we'll perform]."

It definitely seems like a possibility given their current royal treatment by the Recording Academy at the show. It was revealed earlier that the five-some wouldn’t be sitting in the nosebleed section, but rather in the second and third rows next to Camila Cabello, Anna Kendrick, Kelsea Ballerini, Miley Cyrus, and Dolly Parton.

For now, though, fans will just have to go gaga over their red carpet hairdos. Two of the five members rocked tie-dyed hair while all of them stunned in perfectly-coordinated black tuxes.
