Michael Smith / Arthur Roger Gallery
Arthur Roger Gallery
Contemporary arts pioneer Arthur Roger led the way in the Warehouse District when he opened this space in 1988 after 10 years on Magazine Street. Four decades on, it’s still the gold standard for finding mid-career and established painters, sculptors, photographers, and video artists, with some 60 talents on its books. The gallery comprises two distinct exhibition spaces which rotate on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. 432 Julia St.; 504-522-1999; arthurrogergallery.com.
