One travel company might have just created the ultimate bucket list itinerary. Air Partner, a global leader in private aviation, just introduced a "Treehouse Hideaway Hops" where a private jet takes travelers to luxury treehouses in Jamaica and Mexico.
While each trip is customized, a sample itinerary could include leaving New York on a Citation X—which ranks among the world's fastest private jet and seats eight—in the morning and arriving in Kingston, Jamaica, before noon. From there, you'd get ground transportation to Kanopi House in Port Antonio, a collection of eco-chic treehouses nestled high among 100-foot Banyans and with a private stretch of shoreline near the famous Blue Lagoon.
There you could raft down the Rio Grande, take a helicopter trip and sunrise hike to the peak of the Blue Mountains, or trek through the jungle. Then you'll hop the waiting private plane again and jet off to Tulum Treehouse (flying into Cancun) where you can experience the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Mayan ruins, pyramids, cenotes, and the world's second-largest barrier reef.
Air Partner joined forces with The Modern Concierge, a personalized private travel arrangement service, to ensure that every detail of the trip is taken care of. While flying, you'll receive attentive service, privacy, and customized in-flight catering. Plus, a dedicated agent will plan all on-ground activities according to your preference.
And travelers can extend their stays in Jamaica and Mexico to explore for as long as they would like. When they're ready to head off to the next destination, their private jet will be ready and waiting.
"We know from working with some of the most discerning travelers around the world that today, personalized experiences and stress-free planning are top-of-mind," David McCown, president of Air Partner U.S, told Departures. "By partnering with The Modern Concierge to introduce this completely customizable escape, we are offering exceptionally unique experiences with every detail of planning attended to by an experienced team."
The cost of checking off the ultimate bucket list item? A trip beginning in Miami starts at $55,265.
