The royal family has long been discerning about the clothes they wear and the products they buy. So, choosing a stroller for the heirs to the throne was understandably a big deal. The ultimate decision? A British brand called Silver Cross that’s been in business since 1877. And now the famous company has debuted the latest version of their beloved travel stroller, the 2020 Jet.

Weighing only 13.6 lbs, the Jet 2020 is suitable from birth to 55 pounds. That’s a 15-pound increase from the previous edition. It also features an ergonomic seat, wider front wheels for improved suspension, a one-handed fold, adjustable footrest, multiple reclining positions, leather details, and comes with a travel bag. Plus, it’s suitable for most major airline overhead bins for seamless travel.

Of course, you also get to become a proud owner of a royal-approved brand. King George VI was the first to have a pram, followed by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who used a Silver Cross for a young Prince Charles. Princess Diana also pushed Harry and William in the company’s Balmoral pram. And Kate Middleton famously brought Princess Charlotte to her christening in a Silver Cross pram in 2015.

These were the much more traditional stroller from the brand featuring chrome-spoked wheels and a deep basket with cotton lining.

But, it is to see why the royals are such fans in general. Silver Cross is still based in Yorkshire, England, today offering both the classic styles and innovative prams like the Jet 2020 perfect for on-the-go (yet still elegant) families. It’s no wonder more than 10 million parents have chosen the brand for their stroller of choice.

The 2020 Jet is available for pre-order now at select retailers and March 1 on silvercrossus.com for $399. It’s available in blue, grey, and black.
