Living in the forest is one thing, but as soon as you know there’s a pinecone home out there with an outdoor shower and a 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape, consider your standards raised.

Located in a forest in Oakland, the Pinecone Treehouse is on the market for what’s estimated as more than $150,000. The geodesic tiny home is made from steel and California Redwood—it’s outer “scales” are actually glazed panels that reflect the surrounding forest. If you didn’t know what you were looking for, finding this treehouse would be quite an adventure.

According to the listing on Uncrate, looking outside from the inside has a similar effect to a kaleidoscope, mirroring the tree-lined landscape around the home. Although small, the home does have an indoor-outdoor bathroom that’s connected via wooden catwalk.

All in all, the entire structure floats 60 feet off the ground, has 64 window panels, and weighs more than 11,000 lbs., according to SF Gate.

The Pinecone Treehouse is no stranger to fame: It’s been featured on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt as well as a Glade campaign called the VagaBrothers Scent Inspired Road Trip. The home was actually designed and created by Oakland company O2 Treehouse for the Glade fragrance line from S.C. Johnson. Designer Dustin Feider was given a simple prompt. “They gave me artistic freedom,” Feider said in an interview with SF Gate. “They wanted something clear and crystal that represented the smells of the forest."

After Glade’s commercial shoot wrapped up, the home was listed on Airbnb for travelers to experience for $350 a night. And when we say small, we mean small: The 102-square-foot home has room for two twin beds and a few smaller pieces of furniture and that’s it. But we all know the view is what you’re looking for.

For more information on how to own the Pinecone Treehouse, head to the O2 Treehouse website.
