Who wouldn't want the opportunity to get paid to travel or live in a tropical paradise? A couple of dream jobs have opened up recently like a barefoot bookseller and turtle intern in the Maldives. But who says these gigs should just be for humans? Hotels.com doesn't think so. That's why they're on the hunt for a Canine Critic.

Yes, the hotel booking company wants to hire a dog to travel around the world, testing out pet-friendly hotels. The lucky pooch will win ten free nights at any hotel that can be used across different properties, or all at the same one for an extended vacation.

"At Hotels.com, we want to make sure you find the paw-fect place to check into, so we're excited to add a Best for Pets category to our Loved by Guests awards—but it doesn't stop there," Liz Oakman, senior director and general manager EMEA from Hotels.com brand told The Sun. "Our hunt for a Canine Critic is our way of ensuring our pet-friendly hotels really are up to 'scratch' with a four-legged expert's 'paw of approval."

The reasoning behind the unique job search is that Hotels.com found that the number of reviews of pet-friendly hotels has increased by 62 percent in the last two years. Because of this, they wanted to create a list of hotels that are Best for Pets and need a bone-afide expert. Of course, human companions are allowed to tag along.

To enter, you need to follow @hotelsdotcom on Instagram, upload a photo or video of your pup, tag the company in your post, and add #CanineCritic to your caption by August 25. A winner will be chosen at random and receive ten vouchers from Hotels.com valued at $200 each.

Since there are restrictions on animal travel, be sure your dog is healthy enough to make the trips and is legally allowed to enter your countries of choice.
