Audrey Hepburn once famously said that Paris is always a good idea, and while we wholeheartedly agree with her, we’d also like to add that it is an especially good idea when you could experience something as unique as a rave in a centuries-old World Heritage Site such as the Palace of Versailles.
For the second year in a row, the 17th-century French landmark and the most-visited palace in the world will open its doors for Versailles Electro, a music event hosting four of the best house DJs in France.
This year, the show that takes place in the château’s famous gardens is headlined by the French electronic duo Justice. L'Impératrice, the French pop and disco band, will open the party, followed by sets by DJs Miss Kittin and Busy P.
Given the success of the inaugural edition of the event, this year’s party shapes up to be one that even Louis XIV would be jealous of, and that sets the bar pretty high. The show will take place on May 23rd.
If you are interested in attending, you may want to hurry up, though, as the tickets are selling out fast (and understandably so). As of right now, the only available ones are Gold Tickets that will get you access to a Gold lounge with a bar and food buffet, two free glasses of champagne, a reserved parking spot, and the luxury of skipping the line to enter the event which is really useful since thousands of people are expected to be there, and VIP tickets that will get you a seat in the VIP lounge, a glass of bubbly and a parking spot.
This is basically your only chance to experience a party at a venue that has historically been known for hosting the most extravagant bashes ever—do we need to say more?!
