As a mom, I know firsthand how stressful traveling with a baby can be. And the biggest headache has to be the 1,000 bags worth of stuff they require, even for just a couple of nights away. So, one Florida hotel decided to tackle that problem head-on making it easier for families to travel. Conrad Fort Lauderdale created a robust list of complimentary amenities (beyond a crib and sunscreen) geared towards families with infants and young toddlers.

While many hotels offer kids clubs and activities for ages five and up, the needs of younger folks are often forgotten. Instead of babysitting services, these kiddos need diapers, bottles, bath accessories, sound machines, and more. Beginning June 1, that (and more) will be available to families traveling to the luxury property.

The complimentary amenities will be curated into various “menus” depending on your tot’s needs. On the “Please Sleep” menu, there will be a baby camera and monitor, Nuna Sena Aire Pack and Play, SlumberPod 2.0, changing table, sound machine, and more. The “Please Eat” menu features a nursing pillow, bottle warmer, Inglesina high chair, and a list of local lactation consultants. For bubble bath time, the hotel will provide baby bath products, tub, and a tub kneeler, and other essentials available include a diaper pale and foam play mat for crawlers. Additional items include a comprehensive menu of baby food, beach snacks, food pouches, and more.

All of these amenities are on top of the comfortable family accommodations. Set away from the bustle of Miami, the oceanfront resort features all suites with a full kitchen, oversized living areas, and views of the ocean.

“When traveling with a baby, parents are focused on surviving the plane ride or car trip and on top of that, the stress of packing all of the essentials from bathing products to sound machines, to mimic their at-home routine,” Nadim Barrage, Hotel Manager at Conrad Fort Lauderdale, told Departures. “At Conrad Fort Lauderdale, we welcome families with open arms, and for us, that means making their trip as seamless and stress-free as possible.”

He added, “Having the right gear is key to making a family trip comfortable and a truly enjoyable one. After speaking with various parents of kids from ages newborn to two, we knew these accessories were essential to creating a fully luxurious experience to paradise.”
